Here are answers to some common questions.

Q: What do you get for $150?

Even as a non-charity entertainment proposition, the Charles S. Pillsbury Mansion Gala provides real value. Many commercial and charity functions offer low cost food and wine. At the Charles S. Pillsbury Mansion Gala, the least refined wine served is superior to the finest available at many of these events. Our guests have access to high-end wines, liquors and hors d’oeuvres. In addition, entertainment and access to the Mansion is yours for the night.

Q: Should we have dinner beforehand?

Some people choose to eat before the Gala, but we would certainly not recommend it. We will be serving hearty hors d'oeuvres from fine local restaurants, as well as coffee, desserts and champagne.

Q: Is the event formal?

Yes, the Charles S. Pillsbury Mansion Gala is formal. Dress like you were going out for a fancy evening on the town with friends. Minimal dress is coat and tie for men and dressy dress for women.

Q: How do the organizations make money after the cost of the event?

Through sponsorships and donations by generous individuals and organizations. If you would like to join their number, please follow the Sponsor and Donate links. All auction items will be donated. 100% of the money we clear through the event will go directly to restore the Charles S. Pillsbury Mansion, and to support the programs of BLIND, Inc. and the NFB of Minnesota.

Q: What if I am interested in making a separate donation?

You can send your donation directly by mailing it to BLIND, Inc. at 100 East 22nd Street, Minneapolis, MN 55404, or you can donate at the event itself. You may also donate online here
